Kraken Pro has introduced AI side panel assistant, a tool built into the Kraken Pro trading interface. The official Kraken Blog describes it as an in-chart analyst that works with the chart a trader already has open.
The assistant reads chart context, indicators, trend structure and important levels. Kraken also says it can compare related pairs, so a trader can check whether a move looks isolated or connected to a broader market pattern.
The feature is meant to reduce the amount of context switching before a trade. Active traders often move between charts, macro notes, indicators, sentiment checks and order tickets. Kraken is putting more of that analysis in the same workspace where the order ticket and risk controls already sit.
Kraken also added pre-built prompts. The examples in the official post include market briefings, technical scans, sentiment scans, strategy ideas and reviews of a user's trading habits. A trader does not have to start with a blank prompt. They can pick a structured question, review the answer, then decide whether it is useful.
Kraken is clear about the limits. AI side panel assistant is not an autonomous trading bot. It does not place trades or make decisions for users. Kraken also says the output is not investment advice or a trade recommendation.
That distinction matters. The assistant may shorten the research loop, but the user still has to check assumptions, manage risk and understand the product being traded.
For Kraken Pro users, the practical change is that chart analysis, market context and execution can now sit closer together. A trader can ask for a technical scan or market briefing without leaving the trading screen.
The tool is still subject to risk language and geographic restrictions. Kraken's post also notes that AI-generated investment recommendations involve the risk of capital loss, and that certain advisory services in the United States are handled by separate legal entities.
This is a useful product update, but it should be read as workflow support rather than a promise of better trading results.
