Το Kraken προσθετει καταθεσεις και αναληψεις USDT0 στο Stellar went live on September 4, 2026. Kraken now supports deposits and withdrawals of USDT0 through the Stellar network, giving eligible users another route for moving USDT0.

The useful facts are speed and cost. Kraken says Stellar transactions settle in roughly five seconds, and typical network fees cost only a fraction of a cent. For stablecoin transfers, that can matter more than a new trading pair headline.

Kraken describes USDT0 as an omnichain version of Tether's USDT built on LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token standard. The model is lock-and-mint: USDT is locked on Ethereum, then an equivalent amount of USDT0 is minted on the destination network. Kraken says USDT0 remains backed 1:1 by USDT and can be redeemed 1:1 for USDT.

The deposit network still needs attention. Kraken warns that tokens sent through unsupported networks will be lost. Kraken App and Instant Buy access may depend on liquidity conditions, and geographic restrictions may apply.

Kraken also gives the usual stablecoin warning. The word "stablecoin" does not guarantee a stable price on secondary markets, or that any reserve will satisfy every redemption.
